About the event

Physicians and Nurse Practitioners MUST ATTEND IN PERSON to get CME credits.

Credit Hours:

  • Gadsden State Community College awards the “Together We Can Make A Difference” 2nd Annual Autism Conference with 6 contact hours of instruction (CEU). It is conferred to the education professionals to provide continuing education programs under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
  • Gadsden Regional Medical Center designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit that commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Gadsden Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Medical Association of the State of Alabama to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CEU and the CME certificate will be mailed within three weeks of the conference.

  • Understand the importance of early diagnosis and intervention in Autism
  • Recognize the importance of AAC devices and how to use them to improve functional capabilities
  • How to deal with safety issues for individuals with Autism
  • Understanding the wellness of individuals with Autism and their caregivers
